St. Patty who?

I've always wondered--why in the world do we celebrate someone that is clearly from another country? I still don't know the answer, but here and here may help explain the reason. It also has fun party ideas. (at this point in my life I can't see me EVER planning a St. Patrick's Day party, but maybe someday when I'm a crazy mother of 3 I will)
