Cart Coupon Caddy

HOORAY! I am super, super excited about this! I have always had the itch to get into coupon-ing, but I never found a way of organizing it all that would work for me. So, I've never started. I just can't handle the thought of carrying around a huge coupon binder...and a toddler...and a diaper bag...and keep my head on straight. I think, though, that this beauty from My Tiny Sweet Cheeks will do the trick for me. I can't wait to try it out! And see if I can start saving some serious moolah!

Snickerdoodle Muffins and a new blog!

Don't these look so tasty? I found a new blog this morning: The Sisters' Cafe. There were many of their recipes that stood out to me, but this one in particular just made my mouth start to water. YUM! Go check this site out; your husband will appreciate it! :)

YUM!

Doesn't this picture just say "delish" to your taste buds?! If it doesn't, I think there's something wrong with you. However, I am a sucker for a good, chocolatey, but not too much chocolate dessert. I have that blasted Bestor sweet tooth to thank for it... This will be the perfect thing for my one day a month "dessert day". Too bad it's 3 weeks away... :(

LOVE Cafe Rio so I'm a little hesitant to try this in fear that it won't be as good, but maybe I'll be brave and give it a shot.

Birds Nest Treat

LOVE Simplicity! And also this girl that came up with the idea!
...fast forward a few weeks....

Brett agreed to help me makes these on Easter (along with rubbing blue eggs on our lips :)) and they turned out so cute! I used the Whopper Robin Eggs instead of Cadbury and they were a huge hit at our Easter get together!

Cool cake website

I'll need to check out this website when Jay and future kiddos get more interested in cakes.

Lemon Apricot Chicken

This is a great easy dinner and your whole family will love it! Rex loves Chinese and this is really good and a fun version of sweet and sour chicken!

Ingredients:
2 egg whites
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
4 chicken breasts or 8 chicken breast tenders
2/3 cup apricot preserves
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1. Heat oven to 425. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Beat egg whites until combined. In a small bowl combine bread crumbs, lemon peel, and garlic powder.
2. Dip chicken in egg whites the into crumbs. Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
3.While chicken is baking, combine the rest of the ingredients in a small sauce pan on the stove and heat on medium until smooth and warm. Cut chicken and drizzle with sauce.
* I serve this with rice and steamed carrots and snap peas. So good, Annie even loves it!
